Excavation history

Skull found in 1913 by Charles H. Sternberg; the lower jaw and most of the skeleton of the same individual were collected in 1935 by Levi Sternberg for the Royal Ontario Museum and reunited with the skull at the Canadian Museum of Nature in 1955.
